Nevermind the Social Media KPI’s
Since when you take a trip without watching Youtubers? Since when you discover somewhere by accident and urged to go there? Exactly, been a long time. With our newest Budget Turkey relaunch campaign, we aimed exactly this. We aimed social media users to “not like” a post or “not watch” a Youtube video and take a trip instead. Our main point was to encourage users to take an action in real life without “influencing” to do someting on social media.
This campaign doesn’t care about social media likes
We broke rules and implemented the whole campaign into medium specific. “Don’t watch this Youtube ad, take a trip instead” is on air only specific-targeted videos. “Don’t like this post, take a trip instead” is on air only Facebook and Instagram. “Don’t search this place, take a trip instead” is on air only search engines.
We break this campaign into small pieces, find the “right way” and create a new appeal for Budget Turkey.
Don’t read this campaign case!
Nowadays, a campaigns results are metered either page like or specific post like. You seems succeed when you have many more “likes”, right? Well… Not this one.
This campagin doesn’t care about social media likes, influencers and digital KPI’s. We only care about “How can we start people to take actions, how can we make people more adventrous, how can we be the partner in crime for those who stuck in their digital life.”
